Cheese Bread
INGREDIENTS
250 ml water
100 g butter
1 pinch of salt
150 g of wheat flour
4 eggs
100 g grated coarse (or 50 g + 50 g gruyere parmesan)
1 egg yolk beaten
PREPARATION
In a pan with a thick bottom, put the water, butter and pinch of salt and cook over medium heat until boiling.
Remove pan from heat and add the flour, mix well and return the pan to the fire again, stirring constantly, until dry and peel off the edge of the pan.
Turn off the heat and add 4 eggs, one at a time, stirring constantly. Add grated coarse (+ parmesan or gruyere) and mix.
With a tablespoon, take portions of the dough (made up) and place a baking sheet greased with butter. Brush the egg wash with 1 gougeres and bake in moderate oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
